Tioga County Flood Recovery Grant:
Please Note: We are continuing to assist people through the FEMA appeal process and with LIHEAP applications (if applicable) in follow-up to the August 9th flooding. If you have completed the FEMA and LIHEAP process and believe you still have unmet needs related to your flood recovery, you may be eligible for the Tioga County Flood Relief grant program.
If you suffered the loss of your hot water heater or other damage to your home because of Tropical Storm Debby, and you are a resident of Tioga County, PA, you may be eligible for a grant to cover the costs of a new hot water heater or other needed home repairs. We will also work to identify other potential resources to assist you flood recovery. Please complete the grant application form to be be considered for a grant.
Please Note: Funding for these grants is based on available funds through the Tioga County Flood Relief Account donations. If you are approved for a grant, funds will be paid directly to an approved vendor or contractor providing the repairs.

Cleaning After a Disaster
The Tioga County Commissioners have designated the Tioga County Partnership for Community Health as the 501c3 organization to accept monetary donations to assist with flood relief efforts.
Tioga County Flood Relief Donations:
If you disagree with FEMA’s decision, you may appeal. It must be submitted within 60 days of the date of the decision letter.
If you have questions regarding the letter you received or how to file an appeal, call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362. If you use video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service or others, give FEMA your number for that service.
If you need additional assistance, contact Develop Tioga. We continue to assist residents with working through the appeal process.
