The nomination period for the 2024 Change Maker Awards is open. We look forward to your nomination for the 2024 Change Maker Awards. Nominations must include all requested information and a description of how the nominee fit the category they are nominated for.

AWARD CATEGORIES.

  • Nominees must be located in Tioga County and may include projects, businesses, programs, initiatives, events and individuals making a positive difference in Tioga County. The nominee must align with the goals of Develop Tioga to foster and promote community and economic development and create an environment in which businesses, organizations and recipients prosper in Tioga County. Please tell us your nominee’s “change story”. How is your nominee making a positive change for their business, organization or community.

  • A business with up to 50 employees that offers a unique “Made in Tioga” product of service that people should know about.

  • An organization that goes above and beyond to help their community by providing assistance, donations, volunteer and/or promotional support to a cause or for a local need.

  • This award is to recognize someone whose efforts in their field have resulted in outstanding accomplishments, furthered their profession and benefited others in their professional field.

  • A manufacturer or supplier of any size in any industry that is achieving success through its efforts to diversify its customer base and implement new technologies or efficiencies.

  • This award is to recognize an outstanding Tioga County non-profit organization that is making a major, positive impact in our area.

  • A microbusiness or small operation with less than 10 employees that has identified an important community need and addressed it through their service or offerings.

  • A company or organization that creates opportunities for the next generation of Tioga County’s workforce to explore career possibilities and experience work-based learning.

  • A company that demonstrates agility and creativity in response to workforce needs including talent attraction, employee retention, and making a conscious effort to build a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace for all.

NOMINATE BUSINESSES, ORGANIZATIONS, PROGRAMS & INDIVIUDALS.

Award winners will be announced at the Change Maker Awards Dinner on November 7th.

GUIDELINES:

  • The nominee must be located in Tioga County or have made a significant impact here.

  • While you are welcome to nominate more than one business, organization or individual for a category, you must select a single category for each nominee.’

  • Nominations must be received by 11:59 p.m. on October 28th.

  • We reserve the right to disqualify any submissions that do not meet the minimum requirements.
